We are thrilled to announce that ePlus has been recognized with the AWS Migration Competency for our proven methodology of migrating and modernizing applications to AWS. This recognition further establishes ePlus as a trusted and valued AWS partner, with over eight years of collaboration and nine recognitions from AWS based on the positive results we provide our customers.

What does it mean for ePlus?

Achieving the migration competency is an exciting achievement as it recognizes the success and innovation ePlus brings to our customers. By leveraging the AWS Migration Factory approach, we help decrease migration risk while accelerating timelines, which is critical for all companies – regardless of where they are on their cloud journeys.

This unique offering has proven invaluable in scenarios ranging from on-premises data center and cloud evacuations to the migration of core customer-facing applications, enabling agility and scalability. For organizations looking to update their cloud portfolios, whether that is from on-prem to the public cloud or between cloud environments, ePlus can support those strategies securely and efficiently.

Achieving this competency differentiates ePlus as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that provides specialized consulting services designed to help enterprises adopt, develop, and deploy complex solutions on AWS.

How did ePlus achieve it?

We passed a comprehensive half-day audit conducted by a third-party auditor, which validates our expertise in the migration space. The audit focuses on diving deep into successfully executed services projects where we helped customers migrate and modernize workloads into AWS.

As a Migration Consulting Partner, we provide expertise and training to help enterprises quickly develop specific capabilities or achieve specific outcomes. We provide consulting services to enable adoption of DevOps practices, to modernize applications, and implement solutions. This means developing our customers’ internal skills and helping to build the foundations required for executing complex migrations to AWS.

It also adds peace-of-mind for ePlus customers because their partner is ranked at highest tier of approval from AWS itself, so they can accelerate their migration and modernization journey, and time to results.

What does it mean for ePlus customers?

The Migration Competency enables us to offer our customers the ability to participate in the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP).

MAP is a comprehensive and proven cloud migration program based upon AWS’s experience migrating thousands of enterprise customers to the cloud. It also provides tools that reduce costs and automate and accelerate execution, tailored training approaches and content, expertise from ePlus, and AWS investment.

MAP is structured around a proven three-phased framework (Assess, Mobilize, and Migrate and Modernize) to help organizations achieve their migration goals. We can also offer our customers funding dollars (from AWS) to offset service costs so they can focus on achieving their innovation goals.

Conclusion

Customers can trust they are working with the experts in moving data to the cloud, both from on-prem as well as other cloud providers. This designation rounds out our market leadership in supporting the entire lifecycle of cloud migration – assessment, mobilization, and migration/modernization.  For more information, visit the ePlus AWS Migration Practice.
