Leave Benefits

Vacation

Regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 hours or more a week are eligible for vacation leave. Vacation accrues on a per pay paycheck basis based upon your employment anniversary date according the following schedule:

  • 0-47 months: 2 weeks
  • 48-119 months: 3 weeks
  • 120 months+: 4 weeks

Regular part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week will accrue based upon the number of regularly scheduled hours they work per week.

Sick Leave

Regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 hours or more a week are eligible for sick leave. Sick leave accrues at 6 hours per month (9 days per year) for regular full-time employees. Regular part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week will accrue sick leave based upon the number of regularly scheduled hours they work per week.

Personal Days

Regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 hours or more a week are eligible for personal days. For all new full-time employees, if you are hired on or before April 30th, you will receive 2 personal days. If hired between May 1st and September 30th, you will receive 1 (one) personal day. If hired between October 1st and December 31st, you will not receive any personal days for the current year. Permanent part-time employees working 20 hours or more will receive personal days based upon the number of regularly scheduled hours they work per week.  

Holidays

The following are paid holidays for regular full-time employees:
  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day and the Day After
  • Christmas Day

If a holiday lands on a Saturday, ePlus observes it the Friday before, if a holiday lands on a Sunday, ePlus observes the holiday on the Monday after.  Part-time employees working 20 hours or more per week will only receive holiday pay if the holiday lands on their regularly scheduled workday.

Medical Benefits

Health Insurance

ePlus offers a competitive PPO plan through UnitedHealthcare, which includes prescription coverage. Employees pay 25% of the monthly premium. Health insurance is effective the first of the following month after hire date. 

Vision

Vision insurance is effective the first of the month after hire date. Vision is provided through VSP. It is a PPO format with both in-network and out-of-network providers.

Dental

Dental insurance is effective the first of the month after hire date. Dental is provided through Delta Dental. The plan is a PPO Plus Premier Plan.

Work/Life Benefits

Life & AD & D

Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance is provided by ePlus through CIGNA. The basic life insurance is 100% paid by ePlus. Regular full-time employees are covered effective on the first day of the following month after hire date. An Employee Assistance Program is included in the basic life insurance package through CIGNA. 

Optional Life

ePlus also offers its employees the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance at their own cost through CIGNA. Please review the Optional Life benefit summary for cost and further details.

Optional AD&D Benefits

ePlus also offers its employees the opportunity to purchase additional AD&D insurance at their own cost through CIGNA. Please review the Optional AD&D benefit summary for cost and further details. 

Disability

Long- term disability insurance is a voluntary plan provided by CIGNA. Employees must work a minimum of 30 regularly scheduled hours per week to be eligible. ePlus pays 33% of the monthly premium and the balance of the premium is paid by employee through a payroll deduction. Coverage is effective the first of the month after date of hire.  

EAP

Regular employees who work 30+ hours per week and their immediate household family members may contact a CIGNA Employee Assistance Program counselor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for support, guidance and resources. The confidential services include a counselor helpline, in-person counseling, discounted legal services and a content-rich website aimed at helping you.

Financial Benefits

401(k) Plan

The plan provider is Charles Schwab. Eligible employees must work 20 hours or more of regularly scheduled hours per week. Employees are eligible the first of the month that coincides with or following 3 (three) full months of employment. The deferral percentage maximum is 75% of your eligible pay  up to the IRS 401k maximum per calendar year. Deferrals may be made on both a pre-tax and post-tax basis. The employee deferral percentage can be changed on a monthly basis. Auto-enrollment of 3% pre-tax deferral will occur if no action is taken prior to eligibility date. There are various investment directions to choose from as well as an outside broker window. Investment directions can be viewed and changed at any time.  ePlus provides a discretionary match each year. The employer match vests according to the following schedule: 20%, 40%,85%, 100%.

Section 125 Plan

The medical, dental, and vision premiums are taken out of each paycheck on a pre-tax basis.

Flexible Spending Plan

Available to regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 hours or more per week. You are eligible the 1st of the month after 3 months of employment. If you waive enrollment on eligible date, you cannot join until open enrollment, which occurs every January 1st. This plan allows employees to set aside money on a pre-tax basis for medical and dependent care expenses up to maximum amounts as allowed per IRS guidelines.

Tuition Reimbursement

ePlus has a competitive tuition reimbursement program that can help you pay for your higher education. Employees must receive a grade average of C or above. Please contact HR Department for further details.
